Join us for an exciting day of friendly competition at the first-ever NYFurs / NJFurs Basketball Tournament! Taking place at the Brooklyn Bridge Park, this event challenges furries from New York and New Jersey to compete against each other. Who will win? Find out at the NYF / NJF Basketball Tournament!

No prior basketball experience is needed. Members will be split into multiple group sections per round.

The tournament will feature two main teams: NYFurs and NJFurs. Each team can have up to 25 members, who will be split into 5 divisions, making a total of 5 teams per state. Each division consists of 5 players, ensuring everyone gets a chance to shine on the court. The divisions will compete against each other in a series of matches, where every team faces off against the corresponding division from the opposing state.

For example, Division 1 from NYFurs will play against Division 1 from NJFurs, Division 2 against Division 2, and so on. Each match will be crucial as the results contribute to the overall score of the state team. The team with the most wins at the end of the tournament will claim victory, earning the bragging rights as the top furry basketball team in the region!

We'll have plenty of breaks throughout the day, giving everyone a chance to cool down, grab a drink, and socialize. Feel free to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to keep your energy up.

Fursuiters, we encourage you to bring your suits for the after-game photo sessions and to mingle with the crowd—but for safety reasons, please refrain from playing while suited up.
