NYC FurWalk is back on the High Line to Kick off 2026!
NYC FurMeets introduces its first event of 2026 with an homage to BirdStrike, the casual friends gathering along the High Line that inspired the very idea of NYC FurWalk! Join us for this special anniversary FurWalk as we trace back along the High Line from north to south, seeing (what's left) of the giant pigeon (named "Dinosaur"), stomping around the grounds of Hudson Yards, watching over confused pedestrians over 10 Av, and enjoying the scenic beauty of the Hudson River Waterfront. | 10-11 AM | Gather around Moynihan Train Hall. Due to the anticipated cold weather, attendees are welcome to hang inside the hall until check-in opens, with the understanding that fursuiting is not permitted inside the building at any time. |

Supplies
Participants are highly encouraged to bring whatever they need to keep themselves safe and cool as this is an outdoor event! Recommended supplies include:

You are highly encouraged to save your water bottles for reuse at designated water filling stations where available.
Badges

We have changed to PVC badges for better durability and ease of production!

On-site registration will be supported thanks to our trusty label maker

Badges will only be issued to those who want one. A badge will cost $3 (at minimum)

If you elect not to get a badge, you will be issued a sticker-based "ticket" upon check-in.
