 Rooftop Films\, a series of short films will be featured\, including a fur
 ry-centered documentary titled The Reality of Hope\, which includes Photog
 raphotter\, a local from the NYC Metro area.\n\nAbout the Film:\nFilmed in
 side Virtual Reality (VR) and physically in Sweden\, this short documentar
 y portrays VR creator Hiyu facing kidney failure\, capturing his online fr
 iend Photographotter traveling from New York City to Stockholm to be a liv
 e donor to Hiyu. Formed of poetic montages shot in real-time VR and intima
 te interviews\, rooted in the expressive subculture of the VR furry commun
 ity\, the film reveals the sincerity of kindness between friends parallele
 d across realities.\nPhotographotter and Hiyu are both friends of mine—P
 hotter lives right here in the NYC Metro\, and Hiyu is based in Sweden!\n
