There is a Coney Island-bound FurRide Train approaching the station. Please stand away from the platform edge!
Event Information:
Welcome to the first NYC FurRide! We’ll be riding the F Train from Jay Street–Metrotech to W 8 St–NY Aquarium. We recommend bringing partial suits, as the weather will be in the mid to high 80s.
This event is paired with NYC FurWalk 6 in Coney Island, so if you're also joining us for FurWalk, make sure to bring beach supplies as well!
Meetup Location:
The entrance on the corner of Willoughby St. and Jay St.
Important Reminder:
- This is not a reserved subway car — we are in a public space. Please be respectful and courteous to other passengers.
- If you experience any issues with fellow riders, flag down an NYC FurWalk staff member for assistance.
- If you have accessibility needs, please let us know in advance so we can arrange for a staff member to stay on the train until Coney Island.
For Photographers:
We plan to have three main group photo opportunities:
- At the mezzanine of Jay Street–Metrotech, after fare control
- On the platform at W 8 St–NY Aquarium
- On the steps of the station
Photographers may also capture shots at the end of the Smith–9th Street Station platform, but please be cautious of the narrow clearance at that location.
If you'd like to photograph our train arriving at W 8 St–NY Aquarium, take the R and N to Coney Island, then take an outbound F or Q to W 8-NY Aquarium.
